Fell asleep in the armchair again last night lol woke up at 4am went out and turned off the battery charger on the Micra it was so clear and there were loads of stars, I stood out in the garden for ages 🙂 went back inside and fell asleep till 7am, had coffee and then cycled to the farm and fed and mucked out Skye, what a lovely frosty morning it was nice not to be a rush and took some nice photos on the way home, when I got in Cameron was up and he made us a very nice fried egg on toast and coffee for breakfast, Dan rang from work to say my dad was there and was it OK for him to pick up the alternator, of which I of course said yes, dad dropped off the alternator and Cameron was made to to see him driving his Toyota MR2 🙂 Cameron loves the idea of his grandad driving around in a bright red sports car, I spent the rest of the morning making a French Onion soup for our lunch, for such simple ingredients it ain’t half time consuming, but with some toast absolutely worth the time and not a drop left. After lunch I fitted the new Alternator to the Micra it was a bit fiddly getting one of the bolts out but otherwise didn’t take long, went out for a test drive via work and dropped off the old alternator to send back for the surcharge, while I was in work I gave the car a good steam clean and wash, when I got home Lynne and Heather had just got back from the farm and suggested that a pint or two in the The Overchurch Pub would be a fine idea lol who am I to refuse a fine idea and £2 a pint offer till the first goal scored in the Liverpool V Sunderland football game ment 75 minutes of more you drink the more you save lol, we had to get home handy and cook dinner, Cameron was going to a school friends birthday party and as being picked up at 7pm, Lynne, Heather and myself watched Saturday night family TV and our favourite program I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! lol and tried to stay awake for Cameron coming home and bless him he had a great time by the sounds of it, we got to bed late but we are in no real rush tomorrow morning
