Sunday 01.01.17 New Year’s Day

I was up and about early this morning, had coffee and sorted out the chickens before cycling to the farm and feeding and mucking out, lol had a shocking experience going through the gate to the midden, there is a electrical short somewhere and running through the metal gate, cleared my hangover 🙂 when I got home Cameron was still not feeling very well and we ended up ringing the GP out of hours at Arrowe Park Hospital who spoke to Cameron lol we keep forgetting he’s 16 now, nothing more can be done apart from painkillers and fluids, After another coffee and some breakfast Lynne and I walked Ruby to Sainsburys to pick up some throat lozenges for Cameron, on the way home we let Ruby have a good run around Upton Meadow and she loved it 🙂 when we got home I put some lamb in the oven for our meal tonight, Lynne and Heather went to the farm to see to Skye and Heather rode for a good hour , I stayed with Cameron and had a nice bit of lunch and a new year beer, when Lynne and Heather came home we went to the The Overchurch Pub for a pint and to wish our neighbours and friends a happy new year, on the way back home we called into Daisy’s Cafe which is just over the road from the pub and opened today, looks nice and we wished them well, so nice to see a new business venture and always good to have a new foody place local, the fish and chip shop next door opened for two weeks and then closed because it was to hard for the owners to run 😦 when we got home we watched some family TV, Cameron was feeling a bit better this evening thankfully and wanted something to eat, finished cooking our big fat roast dinner and we had a lovely meal and a laugh sat around the table, the lamb was absolutely fabulous, after we had tidied up we chilled out in front of the tv till it was time for bed
