Not making a video today, up and about early this morning after a restless nighs sleep, had coffee and then drove to Leasowe and walked to the stables, brought Skye in for the day, it was a beautiful but windy morning, lots of people out sort of social distancing, I go out and combine my daily exercise and care for our horse, if we could turn her out 24/7 we would, can’t believe how busy it is out and about.

I get the feeling a lot of people are treating this like a national holiday rather than a pandemic lock down, our government are really not helping things, our prime minister appears to be in hiding we have hardly seen him since he got out of hospital, his stooges daily broadcast it’s all poorly covered hints about the country’s getting back to normal, mobile app development to track and trace, which is another distraction from there poor handling of this situation (Google and Apple have already created one) which I believe is being used around the world, maybe some of my readers can give more information on that, vailed hints that the kids are going back to school soon, questionable research that say kids don’t carry and transmit the virus like adults, lol are they a different species, (I know it sometimes seems that way) Cameron’s girlfriend and her sister live with there grandparents, I’m sure they don’t want the girls back in school, sort of defeats the last 7 weeks of social distancing,

Don’t use my blog normally for anything political but I’m getting a bit fed up with the way this lock down has been handled in the UK, and our governments complete lack of control, it should have been a complete lockdown, 670 deaths in the last 24 hours (we have the highest rate in Europe) and 10 thousand tests not sent out, PPE still not available, STAY AT HOME UNLESS NECESSARY

If you are out and walking on county lanes please walk with the road traffic coming towards you not behind you where you can’t see it, fed up of zig zagging back and forth avoiding people, lol starting to sound like a grumpy old man now

Spent the rest of the day pottering about in my workshop, garden and keeping in touch with some friends I haven’t messaged for a couple of weeks, late afternoon we went back to the stables and mucked out, groomed Skye and turned her out for the night, when we got home we made dinner, mmm corned beef hash and beans, after we had eaten and tidied up we chilled out in front of the tv till it was time to go to bed
Stay safe everyone

  1. Our PM certainly referred to the reduction in movement out in the community as shown by Google. I know what you mean re: peoples interpretation of lockdown v holiday. Im just hiding out on my patch of earth with the gate closed pleased that all my important humans and animals are right here with me 😊 keep well

Our government showed similar movement statistics from Apple, but cleverly picked, like public transport and city centre parking searches have dropped, they didn’t mention Google for some reason, I’m going to presume data protection rules in the UK and Europe, spotted family groups shopping, and on the coastal lane where we have the horses stables so many people who have clearly not been there before, we are lucky having a garden and an fun ideas to keep us busy with little projects, our son Cameron has had to work up until last week, I feel sorry for him he can’t see his girlfriend, they have been joined at the hip for 4 years, keep well and stay safe

  3. Definitely a thumbs up! 👍. I enjoyed and love the way you keep yourself preoccupied. Don’t be surprised if you start to receive electronic repair requests. LOL!! Will follow on you tube.

Many thanks, always appreciate new followers, we have kept ourselves busy, and learned some new skills, we can now save ourselves £30 a month in dog grooming 😊

      • The dog grooming sounds like a winner… but the horse is more hairy and costly.🤔

      • neilirving says:

To be fair we have only clipped the horse twice, she’s much fitter this year and not needed clipping, but it’s straight forward with good quality clippers now I have an idea of what to do 👌😁

      • I too groom my dogs and cat. I don’t have a horse yet!😁

      • neilirving says:

Having a horse is life changing, it turns into a lifestyle, we as a family have over the years been brought closer together, the second horse we owned was a rescue and had many issues, we learned so much and had to learn quick and outside of the box, transformed us as a family unit and how we live, helped us adapt and change quickly over the years

  4. Nice share! You keep yourself well preoccupied. You may start getting requests for electronic repairs..LOL!
