Woke up early this morning after a restless nighs sleep, I had a lot on my mind after this weekends announcement about a further month long covid-19 lockdown, the sales department have to close on Thursday the 5th, officially the workshop can stay open, but it has got to be financially viable, had my coffee and then got ready for work, when I got to the garage we had a chat with the lads an we were happy to alternate and work 2 weeks on and two weeks off and make use of the government furlough scheme, the boss however wants to close completely, this time of year can be very quiet and there is probably nothing we can’t put off till next month, November so far only had about a day and a half worth of work booked in, and all of it was easily rebooked for this week, we will be closing on Saturday 7th, with a possible day or two open if enough work can be found, after a stressful and worrying day I finished on time and when I got home Lynne had dinner ready for us all, after we had eaten and tidied we chilled out in front of the tv till it was time to go to bed, which was early for me, I was absolutely shattered
